Try These Breathing Exercises

  1. Deep Belly Breathing: Find a comfortable seated position, place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly. Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling your belly rise. Exhale slowly through your mouth, feeling your belly fall. Repeat for several breaths.
  2. Box Breathing: Inhale for a count of four, hold your breath for a count of four, exhale for a count of four, and then hold your breath for a count of four. Repeat this cycle several times.
  3. Alternate Nostril Breathing: Close your right nostril with your right thumb, inhale through your left nostril. Close your left nostril with your right ring finger, exhale through your right nostril. Inhale through your right nostril, close it, and exhale through your left nostril. Repeat this pattern.
